Distance-selling withdrawal (proposed)

Where Taiwan’s Consumer Protection Act distance-selling rules apply to a remote purchase of services, you may have a seven-day withdrawal period (七日猶豫期) unless an exception below applies. Tell us in writing within that period to cancel before substantial performance begins.

Services already started

If you request immediate work during the withdrawal window and we begin with your consent, fees for completed milestones and consumed review time may be non-refundable. Digital deliverables already accepted under the statement of work are treated as consumed.

Project cancellations

For fixed-price projects, cancellation after kickoff is handled per the signed statement of work. Typically, completed milestones are billed; unused prepaid amounts for unstarted milestones are refunded within fourteen business days to the original payment method.

Deposits and no-shows

Scoping deposits are credited toward the first milestone when you proceed. If you cancel before we allocate engineering time, the deposit is refunded minus documented third-party costs. Missed workshops without twenty-four hours’ notice may forfeit rescheduling slots.

How to request a refund

Email info@originlink.digital with your name, invoice reference, and reason. We confirm eligibility within five business days and process approved refunds within fourteen business days.

Disputes

We aim to resolve billing disagreements directly. You may also contact consumer protection authorities in Taiwan if mandatory rights apply.
